We are present in the mining sector since 2005 with the drilling company Drillcorp Sahara. After fifteen years we have drilled more than a million meters for the largest mining groups operating in the sub-region, BHP Biliton, Rio Tinto, Kinross, SNIM, Maden, Redback Mining. etc…. Thus we have operated in Saudi Arabia, in Guinea on Mount Nimba, in Senegal, in Mali and in Mauritania.

After the redefinition of IWA's strategy, mining appears to be a new strategic development axis for the group. Thus, we acquired. in Mauritania, 60% of the company Gold Mining Services which produces gold by treatment of gold panning residues with an annual production forecast of 540 kg.

In Mali, our subsidiary GMS Mali holds a gold mining permit and preliminary mining work is underway. The objective is to achieve a large-scale mining operation in the medium term.
