Industry

The industrialization of the African continent remains a challenge for almost all countries. We are focusing our approach on the industry necessary for infrastructure, in particular the production of cement and rebar. Thus, we are present in these sectors through the Dakhla cement plant, the two cement plant projects in Guinea (CimBg), in Niger (Kao Ciment) and the Hadid Chemal steel plant in Mauritania.

At the beginning the approach was to start from the end of the chain both in the cement sector with imported clinker grinding units, and in the rebar sector with the Hadid Chemal steel mill which imports the notes and uses local scrap.

The latest projects, such as Kao Ciment, are rather oriented towards the development of local resources. Indeed, all the inputs for this project are available in Niger without having to resort to imports.
