Energy

Our first experience as an IPP started in 2015 in the Republic o Guinea, with a B.O.O.T contract for three thermal power plants totaling 100MW.

After years of chronic load shedding, the objective of this first operation was to make electricity available in Guinea to support economic growth, particularly the establishment of small and medium-sized industries. And this, while waiting for the development of hydroelectric dams of great power launched by the State. Thus, several cement factories, mills, and other industrial units were able to be set up in Conakry.

In Niger, a PPP contract was signed in 2019 for two thermal power plants (89 MW in Niamey already operational and 22MW in Zinder under construction) running on local crude oil. The fundamental objectives of this project are: to increase the supply of electricity, to improve energy independence from Nigeria and to use a locally produced fuel thus improving the GDP.
