Agri-food

Our group's interest in the agri-food sector began in 2009 with the rice hulling plant project, the fundamental objective of which was to enable local Mauritanian rice to compete with imported rice by improving its processing. This includes sorting and laser cleaning.

Needless to say, the importance of this sector in the food security strategies of countries is obvious.
Today, this component for our group is based on five activities:

  • Hulling and production of rice from paddy
  • Paddy production on the 2000 ha plain in Boghé-Mauritania in partnership with GIE DYN,
  • Market garden production (for export) in Keur Macène Mauritania on a perimeter of over 1000 ha,
  • Production of fish meal from the Mauritanian coast

Production of wheat flour in Pointe-Noire-Congo.
